All of the food and drinks were fantastic - clearly a lot of care put into all of their recipes, ingredients, and presentation. Great service as well! Fresh local tomatoes on the caprese were amazing, and our entrees were rich and flavorful. Drinks each had well-balanced strength and taste, and the Greyhound is a must try. Tiramisu and key lime pie creme brûlée were unique and delicious. Can't wait to go back!
This place is really good and the service is amazing. Why 4 stars? Cause it doesn't allow 4.5. My only real complaint was them running out of pizzas four hours after opening. I would presume that the dough is made fresh every day before they open and that is why they ran out. My Mediterranean pasta dish had a bit too much oil in it, but it was full of flavor. The Alfredo with shrimp could have used a dash of salt and it would have been almost perfect. All in all it is a great place and I can't wait to go back. Also Jasmine is the best waitress I've probably ever had.
The atmosphere was great the wait staff was very friendly and had great suggestions on meals. Hats off to the chef Matthew Kohler, his Cajun pasta that I had was really good and my wife had the Tortellini Amedeo and she said it was great also. Highly recommend will be returning again.
The food is outstanding! From appetizers to desserts, attention to detail in presentation, quality ingredients, and the perfect balance of flavors makes this a place to experience! Just remember, as with any great restaurant that is worth the wait, these unprecedented times find every place short staffed. Although staff works diligently to make sure you are attended to, you will need to be patient.
I enjoyed it so much that I went back to try their pizza the following night! Service was excellent through and through. Greeted with a smile by the hostess when we arrived and our server (which I sadly can't remember her name but it was a unique beautiful name) was impeccable. And the manager did his rounds talking to the different tables. We started off with their Panzanella salad, which was split between two people and it was still plenty. They created a lovely mix of greens and the croutons were house made and tasty (I ordered this again when I went back the next day!). If there was any disappointment it would be the bread basket. The focaccia just didn't taste nor feel fresh. Tagliatelle Bolognese was wonderful. It comes with a dallop of fresh ricotta cheese, which was a very nice touch. Lasagna is a bit unique as it's not the classic lasagna baked in a big rectangle pan and you get slices out of it. It's almost as if each order is cooked separately. There are chunks of their meatballs in the layer (but we still ordered an add'l meatball on the side) which their meatballs are some of the best in the area. Then for desert we opted for their Affogato Cocktail ... Highly recommended! It's like an all-in-one. You get your coffee, ice cream, and liquor to add add'l sweetness AND it is sooo smooth!! Bathroom - there are single unisex bathrooms. Clean and nicely appointed decor that continues the theme of the restaurant. The one I entered did not have a changing table.
Recommend making reservations for table seating. If you do walk-in, you can sit at the bar or high tables. We did reservations for two and waited just under 20 minutes for our seating. Our table and seating area were clean. They have a seating area towards the rear for large groups and / or events that are separated from the main seating area with doors. Our server was not having a good night. Entrees came before appetizers and cocktails took a long time to receive. Other staff was helpful. Great team work. Towards the latter part of the evening, our waiter started to improve their service. Although we did not ask for management nor complained about service, the manager did come to the table on their own accord and apologized for any inconvenience. Overall, the food was tasty with just the right seasoning. The calamari was lightly breaded seasoned and not overly fried. Tortellini was perfect and highly recommend. Meatballs were just the right size and yummy. The stuffed portobello melted in your mouth, and the seasoning was perfect. Would not recommend the tiramisu. The tiramisu was more of a pudding in a glass versus a layered cake. This classic Italian dessert was disappointing . Would recommend the restaurant take the time to do this classic dish correctly. The cannolli was disappointing. The person who ordered this dessert stated it had no taste and was ironically dry. This was our first time, and we will venture again because we want to truly experience this restaurant for the potential we know they have. Came back and enjoyed meal. Great drinks and desert was delicious.
I need more stars!!! Our server was wonderful!! The food was off the charts exceptional!! The manager was super nice and so welcoming! I took my boyfriend for his birthday dinner and we couldn't have asked for a better experience!! OH! And the drinks were delicious!! THANK YOU!!!
